  • What days and times are available?
    Appointments can be booked for Monday to Saturday with after hours appointments also available during the week.
  • Where are you located?
    In clinic sessions are available at our Warrandyte Clinic - Level 1, 158-160 Yarra Street, Warrandyte.
  • Do I need a referral?
    A referral from your GP is not necessary for you to book an appointment, however if you would like a Medicare rebate this is not possible without a referral.
  • What referral do I need?
    The most common referral is called a Mental Health Care Plan, completed by your doctor (GP), Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. The initial Mental Health Care Plan will give you access to Medicare rebates for 6 sessions. If you require additional sessions after completing 6 sessions, you will need to get an updated Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor, entitling you to an additional 4 sessions. You are only entitled to 10 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year.
  • How can I book an appointment?
    As we are often in sessions it is best to text or email your therapist directly to make a booking. If you prefer to leave a phone message it will be responded to when possible.
  • Do you offer telehealth?
    Yes, we are able to offer telehealth sessions if you prefer this option please let your therapist know.
  • Do you see NDIS clients?
    Yes we are able to see NDIS clients. Please discuss this directly with your therapist when booking appointments.
  • Do you have wheelchair access?
    Unfortunately, as we are located on level 1 and there is no lift access, we do not have capacity for wheelchair access. We are able to offer telehealth, so please discuss options with your therapist directly.
  • How do I pay for sessions?
    Payment for your session is due on or before the day of your appointment. Medicare rebates can be processed on the day if you bring in your Medicare Card and Mental Health Care Plan. Payment can be made by credit or debit card/EFTPOS at clinic using Hicaps.
  • How long does a session go for?
    A typical therapy session is 50min in length.
  • Do you have a cancellation policy?
    If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact your therapist directly with as much notice as possible. If you provide more than 24hours notice you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
  • Can I use my private health insurance to pay for my session?
    Depending on your level of private health insurance cover you may be able to be reimburse for some or all of your session fee. As this varies from cover to cover, you will need to contact your health insurance fund to check your current coverage.
